President Interact Club of Lahore Garrison Aaesha Shehzad and Immediate Past District Interact Representative Fatima Shehzad visited village Chak 73/RB Karianwala, Faisalabad on the Eid day along with Past District Governor Shehzad Ahmed and Past President Innerwheel Club of Lahore Garrison Dr. Maimoona Ali. They spent time with the children and distributed polio social mobilization items such as polio mugs, badges, pencils and story books among them. They also distributed sweets among the children and informed them about importance of polio immunization among children of less than five years of age.

Polio Immunization and Awareness Walk





President Interact Club of Lahore Garrison participated in Polio Camp organized by Rotary Club of Lahore Garrison. Rotarians fron US, PDG Joe & Lori Pratt and Rotarian Steve & Deb (D-7870) also participated in our fight against Polio. President Interact Club Lahore Garrison also administered Polio drops to the children and also distributed Polio social mobilization items like Polio badges and pencils among the children. DGE Anthony Richards, PDG Suhail Ahmed, IPDG Shehzad Ahmed, Immediate Past District Interact Representative Fatima Shehzad, President and Secretary along with other members of Rotary Club Lahore Garrison were also present on the occasion.


 After the camp she also participated in a Polio awareness walk organized by Rotary Club of Lahore Shaheen.

Polio Immunization and Dengue Awareness Camps



President Interact Club of Lahore Garrison Aaesha Shehzad attended Polio Immunization and Dengue Awareness Camps on September 21, at Karim Park, Ravi Road, Lahore. The camps were organized by Rotaract and Rotary clubs of Lahore Shaheen. President Interact Lahore Garrison administered Polio drops to children less than five years of age and also interacted with them. She distributed Polio social mobilization items like pencils and badges with polio awareness messages on them. She also emphasized the importance of polio vaccination in children and preventive techniques of Dengue fever. IPDG Shehzad Ahmed was also present at the camp.

Function at Governor House, Lahore



Members of Interact Club of Lahore Garrison attended the function organized by Innerwheel Club of Lahore Garrison at the Governor House, Lahore on September 17, 2011 where children from different schools showed their talent and performed different skits, songs and other items. All children were presented polio awareness badges and pencils with polio message. The winners were presented recognition awards. Mrs. Musarrat Khosa, wife of the Governor of Punjab, was the chief guest. Innerwheel Club of Lahore Garrison President Asiya Shaheen organized the function and thanked the participants for gracing the occasion in her welcome address. Interact Club President Aaesha Shehzad presented activities of Interact Club especially their flood relief and polio activities in her speech. The function was attended by Rotary Club and Interact Club of Lahore Garrison and Innerwheel members from different clubs. District Governor Elect Anthony Richards and Past District Governor Shehzad Ahmed attended the event with their spouses. Many Past National Representatives, Past District Chairmen and many club presidents of Innerwheel clubs attended the event.

Interact Club of Lahore Garrison Donates Books to Rising Sun Institute for Special Children


Interact President Aaesha Shehzad along with the members of Rotary Club of Lahore Garrison visited Rising Sun Institute for mentally challenged children on September 10, 2011 and presented a laptop, books for the library and a cheque for purchase of additional books for the Institute. The laptop was donated by Rotary Club of Glenville, USA. The books were collected by Interact Club of Lahore Garrison. Rotary President Asif Khawaja and Interact President Aaesha Shehzad made the presentations with District Governor Pervez Ahsan, District Governor Elect Anthony Richards and Past District Governor Shehzad Ahmed. Secretary Shaheen Ahmed, Faisal Rauf, Asif Noor, Mujeeb Qayyum, Aamir Bashir, SEI Parvez and Interact member Harris Parvez were also present at the occasion. Earlier, Dr. Abdul Tawab Khan, Mrs Perveen Tawab and other executive members of Rising Sun Institute welcomed the Rotarians. Dr. Tawab presented history and progress of the Institute through a multimedia presentation. After the presentation of donated items, a visit of the Institute was also conducted. 

Eid Milan with Orphan Children at Quaid-e-Azam Law College



President Interact Club of Lahore Garrison Aaesha Shehzad along with District Governor 2010- 11 Shehzad Ahmed and Past District Interact Representative Fatima Shehzad attended an Eid Milan function with the Orphan children at Quaid-e-Azam Law College organized by Rotary Club of Lahore Midtown and Rotaract Club of Lahore Midtown on 31st August 2011. Nafeer Malik, Principal Quaid-e-Azam Law College and also the President of Rotary Club Lahore Midtown, welcomed the guests and informed them that the College has been organizing such functions for the last thirteen years. The children presented songs, dances and jokes and showed their talent. Rotarians distributed gifts among the children. President Interact Club of Lahore Garrison Aaesha Shehzad presented pencils with polio message and polio badges among the children after conveying the important message of providing polio drops to all children less than five years of age. Later, lunch was served to all children and guests. District Governor 2012- 13 Anthony Richards was also present with his spouse Dr. Mariam. Club Secretary Ruhaina Qureshi and other members were also present at the occasion.

Innerwheel's Eid Milan with Jhuggi School Kids



Aaesha Shehzad, President Interact Club of Lahore Garrison and Fatima Shehzad, Past District Interact Representative along with Rotary's IPDG Shehzad Ahmed joined Innerwheel club of Lahore Garrison in their Eid celebration party with the students of Jhuggi (Tent) school on the 30th of August. They participated in the
distribution of gifts and presented pencils with polio message and polio badges among the children after conveying the important message of providing polio drops to all children less than five years of age. They also distributed umbrellas with “Polio Free Pakistan” message among the teachers. Uniforms and food packages

were distributed among the students. Earlier, students welcomed the guests and performed small skits, recited poetry and delivered speeches.
