Polio Immunization and Awareness Walk
President Interact Club of Lahore Garrison participated in Polio Camp organized by Rotary Club of Lahore Garrison. Rotarians fron US, PDG Joe & Lori Pratt and Rotarian Steve & Deb (D-7870) also participated in our fight against Polio. President Interact Club Lahore Garrison also administered Polio drops to the children and also distributed Polio social mobilization items like Polio badges and pencils among the children. DGE Anthony Richards, PDG Suhail Ahmed, IPDG Shehzad Ahmed, Immediate Past District Interact Representative Fatima Shehzad, President and Secretary along with other members of Rotary Club Lahore Garrison were also present on the occasion. After the camp she also participated in a Polio awareness walk organized by Rotary Club of Lahore Shaheen.

Polio Immunization and Dengue Awareness Camps
President Interact Club of Lahore Garrison Aaesha Shehzad attended Polio Immunization and Dengue Awareness Camps on September 21, at Karim Park, Ravi Road, Lahore. The camps were organized by Rotaract and Rotary clubs of Lahore Shaheen. President Interact Lahore Garrison administered Polio drops to children less than five years of age and also interacted with them. She distributed Polio social mobilization items like pencils and badges with polio awareness messages on them. She also emphasized the importance of polio vaccination in children and preventive techniques of Dengue fever. IPDG Shehzad Ahmed was also present at the camp.

Function at Governor House, Lahore
Members of Interact Club of Lahore Garrison attended the function organized by Innerwheel Club of Lahore Garrison at the Governor House, Lahore on September 17, 2011 where children from different schools showed their talent and performed different skits, songs and other items. All children were presented polio awareness badges and pencils with polio message. The winners were presented recognition awards. Mrs. Musarrat Khosa, wife of the Governor of Punjab, was the chief guest. Innerwheel Club of Lahore Garrison President Asiya Shaheen organized the function and thanked the participants for gracing the occasion in her welcome address. Interact Club President Aaesha Shehzad presented activities of Interact Club especially their flood relief and polio activities in her speech. The function was attended by Rotary Club and Interact Club of Lahore Garrison and Innerwheel members from different clubs. District Governor Elect Anthony Richards and Past District Governor Shehzad Ahmed attended the event with their spouses. Many Past National Representatives, Past District Chairmen and many club presidents of Innerwheel clubs attended the event.Interact Club of Lahore Garrison Donates Books to Rising Sun Institute for Special Children
Interact President Aaesha Shehzad along with the members of Rotary Club of Lahore Garrison visited Rising Sun Institute for mentally challenged children on September 10, 2011 and presented a laptop, books for the library and a cheque for purchase of additional books for the Institute. The laptop was donated by Rotary Club of Glenville, USA. The books were collected by Interact Club of Lahore Garrison. Rotary President Asif Khawaja and Interact President Aaesha Shehzad made the presentations with District Governor Pervez Ahsan, District Governor Elect Anthony Richards and Past District Governor Shehzad Ahmed. Secretary Shaheen Ahmed, Faisal Rauf, Asif Noor, Mujeeb Qayyum, Aamir Bashir, SEI Parvez and Interact member Harris Parvez were also present at the occasion. Earlier, Dr. Abdul Tawab Khan, Mrs Perveen Tawab and other executive members of Rising Sun Institute welcomed the Rotarians. Dr. Tawab presented history and progress of the Institute through a multimedia presentation. After the presentation of donated items, a visit of the Institute was also conducted. Eid Milan with Orphan Children at Quaid-e-Azam Law College
President Interact Club of Lahore Garrison Aaesha Shehzad along with District Governor 2010- 11 Shehzad Ahmed and Past District Interact Representative Fatima Shehzad attended an Eid Milan function with the Orphan children at Quaid-e-Azam Law College organized by Rotary Club of Lahore Midtown and Rotaract Club of Lahore Midtown on 31st August 2011. Nafeer Malik, Principal Quaid-e-Azam Law College and also the President of Rotary Club Lahore Midtown, welcomed the guests and informed them that the College has been organizing such functions for the last thirteen years. The children presented songs, dances and jokes and showed their talent. Rotarians distributed gifts among the children. President Interact Club of Lahore Garrison Aaesha Shehzad presented pencils with polio message and polio badges among the children after conveying the important message of providing polio drops to all children less than five years of age. Later, lunch was served to all children and guests. District Governor 2012- 13 Anthony Richards was also present with his spouse Dr. Mariam. Club Secretary Ruhaina Qureshi and other members were also present at the occasion.
Innerwheel's Eid Milan with Jhuggi School Kids
Aaesha Shehzad, President Interact Club of Lahore Garrison and Fatima Shehzad, Past District Interact Representative along with Rotary's IPDG Shehzad Ahmed joined Innerwheel club of Lahore Garrison in their Eid celebration party with the students of Jhuggi (Tent) school on the 30th of August. They participated in thedistribution of gifts and presented pencils with polio message and polio badges among the children after conveying the important message of providing polio drops to all children less than five years of age. They also distributed umbrellas with “Polio Free Pakistan” message among the teachers. Uniforms and food packages
were distributed among the students. Earlier, students welcomed the guests and performed small skits, recited poetry and delivered speeches.

Interact Club of Lahore Garrison Participating in the NIDs
President, Interact Club of Lahore Garrison, Aaesha Shehzad, along with IPDG Shehzad Ahmed and other members of Rotary Club of Lahore Garrison participated in the National Immunization Days (NIDs) in order to work for the eradication of polio. Rotary Club of Lahore Garrison arranged a polio camp at Jinnah Medical Complex, Lahore where they administered polio drops to children under five years of age. Members of Interact Club of Lahore Garrison and President Aaesha Shehzad participated in a successful tree plantation at the Government College University (GCU) Kala Shah Kaku campus, along with their parent Rotary Club on July 15, 2011. Members and their families actively participated in this event. Winners of the Special Olympics were also present. Aaesha Shehzad, President Interact Club of Lahore Garrison attended Rotary Club of Lahore Jinnah’s installation ceremony held on July 11th at Lahore Gymkhana. The new administration of the club was warmly welcomed and the past administration was whole heartedly thanked. The Rotaract and Interact clubs of Lahore Jinnah were also recognized.
Interact Club of Lahore Garrison Distributing Sewing Machines at Kot Addu
President Interact Club of Lahore Garrison, Aaesha Shehzad, along with Past District Interact Representative, Fatima Shehzad visited the flood affected area of Kot Addu where Rotary Club of Lahore Shaheen with the help of their international partner, Rotary Club of Brampton (Canada) had set up a camp to distribute sewing machines to the deserving women of the village. President Interact Lahore Garrison Aaesha also participated in the distribution of the sewing machines.
Interact Club of Lahore Garrison at Installation of Rotary Club of Multan Chenab
President of Interact Club of Lahore Garrison, Aaesha Shehzad attended the installation ceremony of Rotary Club of Multan Chenab that was held on July 9th in the Ramada Hotel, Multan. The club members acknowledged the hard work of their past administration and gave a warm welcome to the new one. The installation was followed by a delicious dinner and musical entertainment.
Interact Club of Lahore Garrison at Rotary Gurmani Village
President Interact Club of Lahore Garrison Aaesha Shehzad and Past District Interact Representative(PDIR), Fatima Shehzad visited the flood rehabilitation project of RC Multan Metropolitan, ‘’The Gurmani Village’’. RC Multan Metropolitan has started construction of houses for the flood survivors, who have lost all their belongings in the floods. Many families have been given the possession of the houses. These houses are well constructed keeping in mind the requirements of the villagers. President Aaesha Shehzad and PDIR Fatima Shehzad also visited schools for girls and boys which are near completion. They also distributed umbrellas with the message of ‘Polio Free Pakistan” among the children and women of the village.Interact Club of Lahore Garrison at the joint Installation of Rotary Club of Multan Midtown and Metropolitan
Aaesha Shehzad President Interact Club of Lahore Garrison attended the joint installation ceremony organized by RC Multan Midtown & Multan Metropolitan in Ramada Hotel Multan. After colorful handing taking over ceremony scrumptious dinner was served and the ceremony ended with melodious songs by Rtn. Rahat Bano.

President Interact club of Lahore Garrison Aaesha Shehzad and PDIR Fatima Shehzad attended the Installation ceremony of RC Jhang Saddar on their invitation. It was a well organized function. Rotary Club of Lahore Midtown held its installation ceremony in the Defence Club on July 4th. Other than members of Rotary Club of Lahore Midtown, Rotarians from other clubs were also present for the ceremony. President, Interact Club of Lahore Garrison, Aaesha Shehzad was also invited to the installation. DG Pervez Ahsan was the chief guest. IPDG Shehzad Ahmed, PDG A Q Alavi were also present at the occasion.
Interact Club of Lahore Garrison at Rotary's District Installation
President Interact Club of Lahore Garrison, Aaesha Shehzad and Past District Interact Representative Fatima Shehzad attended the first district event of district 3272 for the year 2011-12, the district Installation that was successfully held at the Serena Hotel in Faisalabad. DG Pervez Ahsan was installed as District Governor while presidents of the clubs were also installed. The Installation Ceremony was attended by Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors and Inner Wheel members from all over the district. Along with other leaders of the District, DIR for the year 2011-12 Talha Mushtaq was also recognized at the occasion. The installation was followed by scrumptious dinner and great musical entertainment.

Polio Awareness Campaign at Chak 73/RB Karianwala, Faisalabad
Aaesha Shehzad, president Interact Club of Lahore Garrison, along with Past District Interact Representative Fatima Shehzad visited Chak 73/RB Karianwala Village near Faisalabad and distributed Polio badges amongst the children as a part of their Polio Awareness Campaign. They spoke to the children and informed them about the importance of Polio vaccination. Polio story books were also presented to the children. Umbrellas with “Polio Free Pakistan” messageand packets of tea were given to the women of the village. The Interact Club members also talked to the women and urged them to vaccinate their children under five years of age on the polio National Immunization Days (NIDs) and to spread awareness regarding polio amongst their friends and families. Rotary International Past District Governor Shehzad Ahmed and Past President of Innerwheel Club Dr. Maimoona Ali were also present at the occasion and participated in the program.
